Privacy policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use toddpolke.com and portfoliowealth.com, take the Freedom Figure quiz, watch the training, buy or complete the Wealth Diagnostic, apply for a membership, or contact us.
Who we are
Both sites are operated by Portfolio Global Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore, which trades as Portfolio Wealth and publishes Todd Polke's work. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Portfolio Global Pte. Ltd. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
What we collect
- Contact details: your first and last name, email address, mobile number and country.
- Your Freedom Figure answers: the yearly amounts and timeframes you set for each level, what each level means to you in your own words, your investment assets and debt, and your income. We use them to work out your figure and send you your results.
- Your training activity: how much of the training you have watched and your scorecard answers, when you arrive from one of our links.
- Your Wealth Diagnostic: your 49 answers and the results worked out from them.
- Purchase details: your name, email, billing address and what you bought. Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Applications and enquiries: what you tell us in the Boardroom application (your strategy, whether you have capital ready, what you are looking for, where you are based), in the contact form, or when you claim the book's reader bonus (including your order number and where you bought the book).
- ToddBrain questions: the questions you ask ToddBrain on your Diagnostic results, with your first name and Diagnostic answers so the answers fit your results.
- Technical and usage information: your IP address, browser and device, the pages you visit, the links you click and the ad or email that brought you here, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health information, religious or political views, or government identifiers. Please do not include any in a message to us.
How we collect it
Mostly from you, through the forms, quizzes and checkouts on our sites. Some is collected automatically as you use the sites. Your quiz answers and figures are also kept in your own browser's storage, so they carry from one page to the next; you can clear them by clearing your browser's site data.
You do not have to give us your personal information. But without your contact details we cannot send you your results, your report, or anything you have asked for.
How we use it
- To work out and send your Freedom Figure, your Diagnostic report and your 90-day plan.
- To deliver what you buy, give you access to it, and handle refunds.
- To consider your membership application and reply to your enquiry.
- To send you emails related to what you signed up for, including the training, the Wealth Diagnostic and our memberships.
- To answer your ToddBrain questions.
- To understand how the sites are used, measure our advertising, and show our ads to people likely to find them useful.
- To keep the sites secure and meet our legal obligations.
Everything on our sites is general information only. We do not use your information to give you personal financial advice.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link. Use it at any time, or email us at hello@toddpolke.com, and we will stop. If we send you a text message, you can reply STOP.
Cookies, the Meta pixel and Google Analytics
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies. Some keep the sites working. Others measure how they are used and how our advertising performs:
- Meta pixel. Tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visit and the steps you take, such as signing up, starting a checkout or making a purchase. When you sign up, apply or buy, we also send Meta your email address, phone number, name and country in a scrambled (hashed) form, so it can match the action to the ad that led to it. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show them to people likely to find them useful. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can control the ads you see in your Meta ad preferences.
- Google Analytics. Measures how visitors use the sites, such as pages visited and time spent. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
- Freedom Figure version. We are comparing two versions of the Financial Freedom Figure. A small cookie (ff_split) remembers which one you were shown, so you see the same one each time. It holds nothing about you and expires after 30 days.
- Video players. The training is played through Vimeo, and some videos through YouTube. They may set their own cookies when you play a video.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the sites may not work as well if you do.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run the sites and the business, and only for that purpose:
- HighLevel, our customer database, which also sends our emails and text messages
- Stripe, which takes payments
- Circle, which hosts the member community and some membership checkouts
- Cloudflare, which hosts and secures the sites
- Anthropic, which provides the AI behind ToddBrain
- Meta and Google, for advertising measurement and analytics, as described above
- Our team and contractors, who need it to do their work
We may also share information where the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is sold. We do not sell your personal information.
Overseas
We are based in Singapore, and most of our service providers store information in the United States, with some in other countries where they operate. By using our sites you understand your information may be held outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure our providers protect it to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and providers who meet recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it. We keep your information while we need it for the purposes above or the law requires us to keep it, and then delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@toddpolke.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot do what you ask, we will tell you why.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your information, email hello@toddpolke.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or in Singapore to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.
Changes to this policy
